Tonight Barry and I grouped our cards. I still played green and he white. Under Barry’s instructions, I won. Barry didn’t care whether he could win. Barry just wanted to have fun with me and see me happy. I know it.

I adore the illustrations on each card. They’re so much better than their Chinese counterparts. So do I adore the translation.
The most important thing, however, is that it has life. When we play the game it’s as if we were commanding the different great forces in nature. It’s as if we were in the forests created by JRR Tolkien.
